Momentum investing relies on the tendency of stocks in uptrends to continue rising. This screen filters for stocks with positive quarter-over-quarter performance, prices above both the 20-day and 50-day simple moving averages, and RSI below 70 (not overbought). These technical criteria help identify stocks with strong upward momentum that haven't yet become overextended. Momentum strategies work best in trending markets and can be combined with fundamental filters for a hybrid approach.
